Do. 12 dec. 18:00 — 20:00 Pakhuis De Zwijger Amsterdam: Exceptional encounter with Rob Hopkins, founder of the worldwide Transition Town movement, about the power of local action and the design of socially and ecologically communities in the era of sustainism. Rob Hopkins’ lecture is introduced by Michiel Schwarz (Sustainism Lab) and followed by a discussion with Marjan Minnesma,(director Urgenda), Maarten Hajer(director Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving / PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency) and Marleen Stikker (director Waag Society).

Following on the lecture of Hopkins at 8 pm the program De Circulaire Stad: Think Big, Act Small on practices of effective use of resources in other parts of the world.
